For the second task that we had to do we looked at different pictures of landscape and used that technique that we did on all the materials that we used to combine together to make different tools of landscape pictures and I created two different landscapes using various types of materials and tried being creative with it.
I used water colour pencils for this one and drew out the landscape and after that as soon as it was all drew out I applied water and spread out the water carefully to make the colours even.
For this same landscape I used oil pastels and tried being creative with it making the scenario daylight as it was originally dark, I should have made the sky more detailed if I could improved it.
The same landscape again I used oil pastels but used even darker colours compared to the original picture and I made like the moon was reflecting the water as the water is pretty dark.

I used different materials for this one as I made it more of a black and white theme, I started of using water colour paint for the water and mountains for my main thing on my portrait then added acrylic paint for the dark sky and moon, I used the black acrylic first to apply the first layer then dried it out and applied the white acrylic as a top layer to make the moon reflex the water.
With this one I used a sketch version for the same landscape picture I mixed it between from 2b pencils 3b, 4b and 5b. I mixed the lighter and darker mountains and for the sky I did a very light sketch and smudged it with my finger to have a lighter effect and used the rubber for the sun and the light effect for the water.
This was the second image that I did for my landscape, this version I used water colours I didn't do it quite well as I struggled at the start but I tried doing the sky and trees in the background.
This was the better version that I did for the water colour I used the same image but I added different colours to have like a northern lights effect and blended the dark sky to the green.
I used the same image again and used a very dark pencil 5b and I tried pressing hard to have a darker effect as shadows and gently made the sky by sketching it.
For the last piece of the second image I did I made a charcoal version of it and made it really dark also made some white spaces as I smudged it with my finger to have a fading tone and finished it off on the sky by applying white acrylic paint gently tapping the paint as a top layer.
Out of all the sample images I made and all the tools I tried creating I had to make a final piece and any choice of materials I stuck to oil pastels as I was really more comfortable using it and knowing how it works more I tried making the them more darker and using different styles on applying it, I blended the black and blue as a shadowy effect on the side and used yellow as more of a dark sun. Then finally made the mountains from light oil pastels to darker, then used tooth pick to create that wave in the water. If I could have improved this I would have taken my time with it since I kind of rushed it a little but then I was happy overall on the final piece on what I did.
